We carry push-reel mowers from Easun NaturCut. These are NOT your grandfather's push mowers! The new generation of push mowers features non-contact or minimal-contact cutting blades, which reduce wear on the blades, increase the time needed between sharpening, and make the mower very easy to push. We have a demo model available for customers to take on a "test mow", to see how easy these really are!

Push mowers are quiet, non-polluting, require no petroleum inputs ever, and reduce or eliminate the irritants some people have to cut grass (as the grass from a push mower is not powdered, like grass from a gas mower). They also provide an excellent form of exercise - one that you can do early on a Saturday morning without waking the neighbors! Still, they are recommended for smaller lawns of 10,000 sq. ft. or less.

This trimmer works for half an hour on a full charge (5-8 hours). The battery pack is worn on the shoulder. Together, the trimmer and battery pack weigh about 7 pounds.

Our review: This is an effective trimmer that is very easy to start up - no pull cord designed for burly men! - and equally easy to use. This is not a weed whacker for tough weeds. It's lightweight, and with only one cutting cord, is most useful for edging lawns and cutting down weeds with softer stems (for example, it didn't even make a dent on a mature Queen Anne's Lace plant).
