April

Sunday, April 18th, 12 PM - 5 PM: Berks County Earth Day at Riverfront Park, Reading

 

May

Sunday, May 2, 1-4 PM: Native Plant Sale and Open House at the Mansion at Nolde Forest, on Rt. 625. Sponsored by the Friends of Nolde Forest.

Saturday, May 8, 10 AM - 4 PM: EnviroFest at Welkenweir, a nature preserve in Chester County. Featuring Mike McGrath as the keynote speaker! Event sponsored by the Green Valleys Association.

Saturday, May 22nd, 9 AM - 1 PM:: B&H Organic Produce “Meet the Farmer Day” and Open House, Morgantown

Wednesday, May 26, 6 PM: Anne-Marie talks about the connection between insects and native plants at the Muhlenberg Library in the Community Room. 3612 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA.

Saturday, June 19, 12 PM - 5 PM: First Annual Sustainability Festival, sponsored by the Berks Lancaster Green Building Association, at the Twin Valley Elementary Center in Morgantown. An interactive educational event informing homeowners and their families on many ways to reduce environmental impacts. Topics include local/organic foods and produce, composting, rainwater harvesting, alternative energy and energy efficiency, environmentally responsible building materials and systems, waste and recycling, green products and highly fuel efficient vehicles.
